This Code of practice details the fire safety standards for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems in non-domestic premises. It is essential reading for any professional involved in these processes.
The 2025 update supersedes BS 5839-1:2017. It includes several important changes, including:
