RCD Test Labels, Available to all

A Residual Circuit Device (RCD) label to be left in a prominent position at or near the RCD. These labels advise the customer of the need to test the safety device at six-monthly intervals and the action to take should the RCD operate.

Note: The requirement of Regulation 514.12.2 need not be applied for domestic (household) premises or similar installations where certification for initial verification, complete with Guidance for Recipients as detailed in Appendix 6 of BS 7671, has been issued to the person ordering the work.
