Who is this course for

This is an online electrical course for electricians who might be familiar with electrical regulations on a day-to-day practical basis but aren't fully aware of the exact up-to-date guidance introduced in the recent Amendment to the 18th Edition. 

As an E-learning course, this course is entirely online, meaning you can access the content at a time that works for you, from your own home or office, and without the need to find the electrical training near to you.

What are the entry requirements?

Although there are no formal entry requirements, you will gain most from this CPD workshop if you already have a good understanding of BS 7671:2018.

What will you learn?

This workshop will provide an overview of the main changes introduced by Amendment 2:2022.

How is this course assessed?

There is no formal assessment for this workshop.

What do you need to have with you?

To get the best out of this training you should have access to each of the following for the duration of the course. 

  • A copy of BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 - Requirements for Electrical Installations. 
  • A copy of Amendment 3:2024 (download for free from the NICEIC website). 
  • A copy of the Corrigendum (May 2023) to BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 (download for free from the IET website). 
  • A scientific calculator with square root function. 

Not having the above items for the duration of the training will compromise the quality of the learning and significantly reduce the chance of success in the open book assessment.
