What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Once completed, you'll be able to advance onto the Design and Maintenance course.

  • An understanding of legal requirements for emergency lighting systems. 
  • An understanding of products in the marketplace. 
  • An understanding of emergency lighting systems. 
  • The requirements of BS 5266 / BS EN 1838 / BS EN 50172. 
  • Siting of equipment. 
  • Emergency lighting levels. 
  • Review of certificates.

An end of session exam will be held.
