About this course

This qualification in renewables is all about solar photovoltaics. The goal of the course is to equip you with all the skills needed for the design, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of solar photovoltaic systems.

This renewable energy course has been chosen as one of the select qualifications to receive the 'Electrician Plus' kitemark, a new designation that emphasises the essential role of qualified electricians in installing low-carbon technologies.

Similarly, this qualification is MCS approved and meets the MCS competency requirements for the small-scale technology type.
